Popular Post Psimbo
He had a complete meltdown on Boxing day about the FBI, 'Justice' Dept, and others. If he ever had the plot he's lost the last vestiges of it now. Just a spiteful, sulky, buffoon, making himself look even more ridiculous (if that were possible) by the hour. Its going to be a long 24 days and I'm betting he won't even turn up for Biden's inauguration. As a side bet I'm willing to put money on Melania dumping him within two years

Foreign aid is not in the covid bill, it's in the omnibus bill. And as mentioned by other posters, most of it put by the current administration according to its budget. "On Dec. 21, lawmakers in both chambers of Congress passed a $2.3 trillion spending package: a roughly $1.4 trillion omnibus spending bill — consisting of 12 different bills to fund the government during fiscal year 2021 — and a separate, approximately $900 billion bill specifically for COVID-19 relief. Lawmakers also passed several other smaller bills." https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2020/dec/22/facebook-posts/facebook-posts-wrongly-say-covid-19-bill-includes-/ Edited December 28, 2020 by candide

Now that Trump has signed the bipartisan $600 direct payments bill, wonder what's gonna happen to the standalone $2000 payments bill, and what if anything are Republicans in Congress going to do about going beyond the basic $600 amount??? My bet... Nothing! Trump barks, then he barfs. SOP. Since Pelosi and the House will pass the $2000 and the Republicans in the Senate will block it, it's time to vote for Democratic sweep in Georgia. Anyone voting against the $2000 in Congress should see their lifetime post Congressional retirement cut to $600/month. 5

Popular Post Lacessit
I'm just wondering what it feels like to be an unemployed American, watching Trump act as a non-leader with COVID-19, then spoiler for the help they should be getting. Swanning off to play golf and fatten his wallet in doing so. In many other countries, the populace would be hanging him from the nearest available lamp-post. In the USA, the ones possibly worst hit by his malfeasance and sociopathy adore him. Time for a new slogan. Forget MAGA and BLM, drum roll - ALM. As in alms for the poor, or American Lives Matter.

Agusts
I read somewhere the $600/month is for anyone with annual income less than $75,000...!? I thought the help needs to go to people who are effected by covid19 situation, lost job or income due to that or somewhat effected by it, what would just anyone who has $75k income already (or $6250/month) should receive this money...!? I'm sure I'm missing something but is that correct...!? ????
