Hey, Tippaporn! How about you start your own thread called "Tippaporn's Videos" and let the rest of us get a word in edgeways?

I'm not stopping you or anyone else from posting "edgeways."  Don't blame others for your own self-created problems.  I've been posting on this thread in this way for years.  You're the first to complain.  Don't expect me to live by rules imposed by you and that suit perhaps only you.

Happy Birthday to Al Stewart

You had posted this wonderful Al Stewart tune which I was unfamiliar with a few years ago, bannork.  Great to hear again.  I've gotta find the FLAC file for this.

Tonight is rock babes for me.

I'll second that theme.

Nico's recording of Jackson Browne's These Days for her '67 album Chelsea Girl.  Browne penned the tune when he was only 16.

Had to get the entire discography in order to get the song as FLAC but there's a benefit to it.  Unless a particular album by a particular artist had been purchased then one would only be familiar with perhaps a song or two, extensively played on the radio, off a given album.  Now the entirety of a given album, of which only a few songs are popularized, may be as good or better than those played on the radio.  Listening to complete albums we've never owned previously are the source of so many gems.

So here's payback for you, bannork, for turning me on to this beautiful tune with another, hopefully to your tastes, equally beautiful song by Al Stewart which I've also never heard before.

Denise At 16 off of his '67 debut The First Album (Bed‐Sitter Images).

One a personal note, for me it was Denise at 14, LOL.  And she was as beautiful as this song.

Carly Simon with You're So Vain, rumoured to have been directed toward Warren Beatty, off of her '72 No Secrets LP.  Just to note, it's an interesting location they chose for the play button.

Bonnie Raitt with one of my favourite live versions of Angel From Montgomery recorded with John Prine live at the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago back on Jan. '85.
