Earthquake Rocks Bangkok: Building Collapses with 40 people inside
In respect to my earlier comments, I incorrectly attributed the earthquake design questions to David Zhang. They come from another source. I apologize for the incorrect attribution. However, David Zhang highlights the Chinese construction engineering and quality issues and points out that the Serbian train station which collapsed was also Chinese engineered and built. To date, no one else has corroborated the design error issue initially referred to. Instead, the claims are now indicating a change in direction to that of a local change in the design with suggested political overtones. The Nation is offering that angle in its newsblog https://www.nationthailand.com/blogs/news/general/40048071 This too may be speculation under the guise of an opinion. *To be transparent, David Zhang is a frequent critic of the PRC government. He is reportedly based in New York City. -

Thai Restaurants Forgive Earthquake Evacuees Who Fled Without Paying
https://youtube.com/shorts/N_5Vk17swcE?feature=share Thai Restaurants Forgive Earthquake Evacuees Who Fled Without Paying In the aftermath of Thailand’s March 28 earthquake, many restaurants in shopping malls have waived charges for diners who fled without paying during the chaos. With buildings damaged and panic widespread, customers left meals and merchandise behind as they sought safety. In a show of compassion, major food groups like Iberry, MEATION, MAGURO, and others announced they would not pursue payments. Shopping centres including Siam Paragon and Iconsiam also offered free parking and overnight stays to support affected patrons. The gesture has been widely praised as a humane response to an unprecedented crisis.
