Fifteen places in Bangkok, Uttaradit and Phitsanulok were raided by Thailand's tech police yesterday in an operation against an online gambling group.

The center of the gang's activities was in Phitsanulok. The gang used the address UFAKKK.com.

It had 250 million baht a month in turnover in Phitsanulok and 500 million baht in total.

Plenty of computers and servers were seized along with all account records. 28 arrests were made.

Drugs and money laundering were linked to the center in Phitsanulok.

Tests for drugs were positive and a quantity was found. 400,000 baht in cash and two cars with Bangkok plates , a BMW and a Civic, were seized.

Daily News reported this was part of an ongoing anti-gambling drive initiated by PM Prayuth Chan-ocha.

The media provided phone numbers for the public to call to report miscreants.

The PM is making it harder for Mr Plod to keep up all the new car payments.

But seriously the underground gambling could never have flourished as it has without the

"blindness" of the constabulory & some "influential" people.

Agreed, they must be seriously hurting now with all their avenues of extortion, racketeering, insurance, tea money drying up due to covid, Now this, wherever will it end.........possibly quite a few Mia Nois joining that 1.5 million on the poverty line.

This is all just smoke and mirrors to look as if they are doing something.

Gambling dens were the source of the main outbreak.

You cannot catch Covid on-line.

I would hazard a guess that there is a selective process going on here with some nice pictures.
