Clear CCTV footage showed the moment when a 26 year old Thai man sexually assaulted a woman in a mini-mart in Surat Thani in the south of Thailand.

Anupong Janprasit - known in the Thai media as "Ai Peun" - was arrested soon after the attack in Phun Phin.

He has done time in the past for drugs and sexual assault and the Thai media said he had not reformed.

This was not missed on the provincial police chief Pol Maj-Gen Sathit Phonphinit who went to see developments in the case.

A reenactment was not deemed necessary as the CCTV was damning.

Sathit noted that the suspect was reoffending and must face further charges as a result of a court's decision about him reoffending within 5 years. He is also subject to two offences that were suspended.

Bail would be denied, he said, as the suspect is a clear danger to society.

Anupong offered that he didn't mean to attack the woman, it was all a mistake. He said he would explain himself in court and he further denied another sexual assault on Route 41.

The woman in the mini-mart said he meant it alright.

She said he had been circling around on his motorcycle and had asked if he could come into the store to masterbate.

She chased him away but he came back.

Maybe he meant "masticate."

Apparently she saw him hanging around and acting suspiciously outside as she was preparing to close the shop so phoned her bf before the attack began.

Yet another really good reason for greater understanding of mental health issues.

Is this some sort of liberal method to explain-away a sexual assault?

You don't seem to care for the victim as much as you want to help the offender.

I'd have thought next to the tissues would have been better, but then again, TiT.

Incorrect, and a ridiculous assumption.

My point was, that if mental health issues were better dealt with, the offender might have had help to deal with his mental health issues, and that poor girl might not have had to endure that horrible experience.

There, that wasn't too hard for you to work out, was it?

The man was obviously on drugs at the time.

One to note to all the 'legalize' people.

How true, it makes me smile how whacky-backy smokers on here claim it makes them non-aggressive, only beer drinkers do this sort of thing.......????......................????

PS. A member gave you a "sad", we can only guess why....:whistling:................????
