Application for Substitute of Certificate of Residence (In CW Immigration)

Featured Replies

Hi, it seems that we get a certificate of residence now from the office in Muang Thong Thani, correct?

Anyone know if it can be done in one day?  I don't mind spending a little extra, just would like it all wrapped up.

Did it last week. You can make a booking but even if you don't you will be out in very short time.

You will be given queue # B and most are there for queue #A (90 day report).

Just avoid needing to photocopy anything as that is BUSY.

Be aware of what they want. The main one being last 90 day report. Photography it prior to going to MTT.

Edit: added note...I applied Wed 27 and RC arrived via post Sat 30. 200baht.

Did you need to provide photos?  I've seen various answers to this.  Thanks!

At MTT, I did my 90 day report followed by residence certificate. Neither required photo. However living here I always have that stuff with me.

There was no way around obtaining photocopy on my 90 report to then obtain the RC so I needed go downstairs to photocopy area. When I was there in August it was brilliant and no queue. Last Wednesday was in queue for 30mins to photocopy one page.

Can't really complain as was only there for an hour.

Thanks, I wouldn't have thought of making a copy of my 90 day report.  All set now!

This in the title of your topic "Substitute of Certificate of Residence" makes me think you have completed the wrong form to apply for a certificate of residency. The form titled as above is only for those with permanent residency.

This is the correct form for what you want. Application For Certificate Of Residency48.26 kB · 1,362 downloads

Hi Folks,

Is that the main Immigration building? (The big upside-down pyramid building.)

Or the office just north of Impact Expo?

I have copies of my TM 47, and Electricity bill.

Need the CoR to renew my driver's license.

Cheers

Impact studio is near MTT .

COR not done there now.

You attend building B Chaengwattana immigration.

Google same attached screenshot for location.

You can book an appointment for COR. It is first option on this link

https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/

Here is thread that outlines required docs and link to form used at CW.

Thanks Dr Jack.

At some point during Covid they sent me from CW to that Popular Rd. Office to do the 90 days.

I guess that was spreading out the crowd.

Now they're back at CW.

I shall follow your instructions.

Thanks again.

🙂

Yep. I obtained a COR at MTT in covid times.

Since then I have obtained my last two at CW.

Seems now possible to make an appointment for COR.

Fill out form (I posted link). When you enter que desk area go to far right io and show your appointment email (if you use appointment) and filled in form.

If your 90 day report window is open you can do that also.

Same desk same io will process both (TM47 first)

You will receive the COR in approx one week
