Dog-mad Thailand was swooning over the story of a little female puppy that survived a 50 kilometer journey under a car.

The new owner Boonnum Num said on Facebook that they didn't expect to be having a new pet.

They had driven from Kaeng Krachan to Bang Bua Thong on the outskirts of Bangkok before they stopped at a coffee shop and someone saw the little ball of joy.

She has been named Dek Ying Chok Dee (Miss Lucky) with the surname Tee Mai Tai - who didn't die!

When I first came here, it was all pretty predictable. Nights out, bars, always somewhere busy. That was the routine. These days it’s different. Quieter, less going out. I still drop in now and then, but it’s not the center of things anymore. The scene itself feels different too.Fewer girls around, or just moved online? They are not gentle with the PP and they have no understanding what a damaged passport can mean to us.
