200 underground gambling dens still operating across Thailand

There are about 200 underground gambling dens operating nationwide, and 47 are in the Bangkok metropolitan area, according to a government panel, set up last month to investigate the potential involvement of officials in the gambling operations, which became outbreak hotspots earlier this year.

MOPH says nearly 2,000 infections in latest COVID outbreak linked to markets

Thailand will begin the first stage of human trials in March of a new COVID-19 vaccine, which has been developed jointly by the Faculty of Tropical Medicine of Mahidol University and the Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO), Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul told the media on Wednesday.
