Pattaya: All change! High Speed Train station likely to move OUT OF PATTAYA!

Or, just hop in a taxi in the first place at Swampy.

Fortunately taxis are reasonably priced in Thailand. When I land in the UK I would be expected to pay 100 quid or so for a taxi, so dragging my suitcase to the railway station is a matter of economy. Fortunately the station is in the airport area and fed by moving walkways. Such convenience would be nice in Thailand.

  • So moving it out of the city to somewhere where people will then have to travel back into the city will ease traffic......am I missing something?

Much talk and very little action. Regardless of where it goes, I doubt many of us will still be around when it is finally complete.

I suspect that maybe you've missed the Bitcoin train already?

My UK pension has been frozen at £370 a MONTH because I chose to live near my son.  There's nothing left to buy Bitcoins after buying food.

They plan to place many taxis with their meters running at the HSR Station ready to head into Pattaya.

I was going to retort 'at twice the normal speed' until I remembered, the normal speed is zero.

No one has mentioned that without the high speed train stopping in Pattaya that there is no need for a monorail to Bali Hi.....All the BIG  Bali Hi plans are now toast.....
