I will be getting a visa extension next month and my expat health insurance bill came.

It doubled in price.  as I never intend to leave Thailand I was wondering if I could get good Thailand only health insurance. I do have the policy you get that isn't worth anything for my type OA visa.  I wondering about getting real health insurance. any helpful suggestions and experience is welcome.  also is there anything new I have to know for filing for my visa extension?  

Seeing as no-one has answered have you more information about your situation about staying in Thailand. 

 

I'm married and use the local govt hospital for health checks now my private health insurance in Thailand dumped me at 72.
