Six markets in Bang Khae closed for 3 days as COVID infections increase to 224

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has announced the immediate closure of six fresh markets in Bang Khae district for three days for disinfection, with the possibility that the closure may be extended if the number of people infected with COVID-19 keeps rising.

Thailand’s COVID rapid test kit in final 20 of in XPRIZE Foundation competition

Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently issued a certificate for a COVID-19 test kit which can show a test result in just 75 minutes, with the cost of each test kit estimated at 300 baht.

BERLIN/GENEVA (Reuters) - Germany, France and Italy said on Monday they would suspend AstraZeneca COVID-19 shots after several countries reported possible serious side-effects, but the World Health Organization (WHO) said there was no proven link and people should not panic.

(Reuters) - The judge in the trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged with murdering George Floyd, said on Monday he was concerned publicity about the city's $27 million settlement with Floyd's family could influence jurors.

PHUKET: Phuket Provincial Police have announced a statement of assurance that Vorasit ‘Pla Wan’ Issara, the owner of the five-star Sri Panwa resort who was injured in a car accident south of Phuket Town on Sunday night (Mar 14), has been tested for alcohol, but have yet to make public the test results.
