Well, for every scenario, there is an ill advised Trump statement that was made.

I'm not saying Trump is stupid. I'm saying he is a smart man with a deep understanding of what stupid people want to hear.

so now you are saying he was lying, and that Biden could have stopped the withdrawal process

he <deleted> that up, and made the "Fall of Saigon" look like a cute Disneyland parade

we in Europe are going to be swamped now with Afghans refugees, and of course the poor locals are going to pay for his mistakes

what a SOB way of doing a withdrawal, <deleted>ting on the floor on your way out

The American Bar Association Standing Committee on Election Law is pleased to provide you with a list of pending and recent cases, litigating election procedures for the 2020 election.

It's an unusually long docket.

(HINT: Trump lost)

https://www.americanbar.org/groups/public_interest/election_law/litigation/

Thankyou.  Similar denied or dismissed outcomes for most.

I knew there were a lot but not that many.

The US were never going to stay in Afghanistan once Trump struck a no win deal with the Taliban for the US to leave and to release captured Taliban prisoners.

If you are worried about the impact on Europe you can petition your own government to go back in.

See you can't answer a simple question. "What's wrong with a voter flashing an ID before voting"

I can't even buy cold medicine, buy booze or cigs, get on a plane without proper ID, but yet dems are fighting tooth and nail to squash this requirement for voting. WHY?

That’s a nice misrepresentation of what the Democrats are fighting.

The GOP are engaged in wide spread and multi pronged efforts to

restrict voter access, they are targeting sectors of the electorate that vote Democrat.

They claim these measures are needed to combat election fraud but have not produced any evidence of any significant voter fraud.

That is the one rule the democrats blasted. Biden more or less said that blacks weren't capable of obtaining the ID, making them out to be stupid. Oh and then racism gets thrown around.

How about these news organizations simply posting a list of proposed regulations in these articles.

This is about biden's plan for 2024. At some point he has to step down for the good of the country. Our border czar is MIA. See you joe.

As long as dead people can still vote—I guess it’s OK…

A few dead people have voted in every presidential election for a long time. A few ain't gonna matter. Fraud will always exist. Luckily, it's immaterial.

Big lie? Well there you go. Someone says there was no fraud, so there was no fraud. Right.

No fraud has been proven (or disproven) because the courts haven't allowed proper hearings.

Ummm...every state has said so. Not sure why you can't understand this. Again, you've fallen for the big lie. Sad.

I mean really, you are that biased? don't you watch the news or his address to the nation on the news?

he made public statements that the withdrawal was well prepared and nothing was going to happen and it was going to be a nice transition,

when everyone in the backroom and all the allies would tell him otherwise

Figures. No link to a credible source.

So I guess you are ok with Trump's and Pompeo's actions and promises? You are incredibly biased.

https://www.businessinsider.com/john-bolton-impossible-to-rewrite-history-on-mike-pompeo-taliban-deal-2021-8

Pompeo and Trump have come under attack over their agreement with the Taliban, which stipulated that US troops be withdrawn from Afghanistan within 14 months on the condition that the militant group not turn the country into a terrorist base. At the signing ceremony in Qatar, Pompeo posed for photos alongside the Taliban leader Abdul Ghani Baradar, who is anticipated to head the next Taliban government in Afghanistan.

You need to find a better source on what Biden and the Democrats positions are wet to GOP voter suppression.

On other matters Biden, you were wrong biggly all last year, I see no indication of you having learned from your misjudgment.

Ask yourself this question.

Do Americans want to continue sending their sons and daughters to die in Afghanistan, or have they had enough already?

The news is already swinging away from Afghanistan, it’ll be a footnote by time the mid terms arrive.

I doubt the Europeans will leave NATO, but it’s high time they got their act together on their own defense strategy.

You might want to run that by Americans too.

It's the part where his withdrawal was so badly mishandled that's the news, but you know that. All the refugees coming our way will be another story. And now we're lost focus on our losing battle at our southern border, companies can't find workers because biden's handing out money like Halloween candy. Crime is another issue that can't be swept under the rug.

But hey you keep on talking about voter suppression.

Companies paying living wages have more than enough applicants for the posts they advertise.

Refugees have always been ‘coming our way’ and always will.

There is no battle at the southern border.

The DoJ have brought charges against hundreds of participants in arguably the worst crime ever committed that of the failed insurrection, they are also busily working their way up to those who incited, organized and funded that crime - stay tuned justice is coming.

Voter suppression is a threat to the democracy upon which the US is founded. It’s rather an important issue right now.

it's funny that this kind of Trumpist arguments were ridiculed by the likes of you only a few years ago, and yet because it's Biden, you are all now supportive ????

it was an international effort, and the US had an obligation to fix the mess they started, no matter the costs

and yes, it's time Europeans act together and start their own defense system, except the US and the UK (now gone) were always in the background sabotaging these kind of initiatives. Without the UK now, maybe things will change, but we have Poland and other Eastern Europe taking over that silly idea that we need the US and keep NATO.

Personally, I think the EU should include Russia as the biggest European defense partner, not the US. The EU Defense initiative will only happens once we have Russia onboard, and that would include joining the EU, as they are a natural European partner. Before the 1917 Bolchevick Revolution, Russia was a major influence in Europe on economic and culture terms. It's time for them to join back our fold ????

Yep. Handled badly. Yep. Forced on him by the previous administration. Something you seemto have ignored.

But yes, the GOPs attempts at voter supression are much more serious. Stunning in a country so focused on individual liberties. We need more to vote, not less.

Russia still are a major influencer both in Europe and the US.

Brexit and Trump are two examples of their influence.

Around the1960s the Republicans realized it was becoming mathematically impossible to win a National election ever again. Democrats were outnumbering the shrinking, corporate backed Republican Party.

Soon after came the ‘southern strategy,’ which exploited racism in the South in order to convert white Democrats.

Later on they co-opted the church, twisting the teachings of religious heritage, creating the ‘moral majority’ that weaponized intolerance, xenophobia, bigotry, anti gay sentiment, leaving a legacy of politically advantageous hate & bringing onboard evangelicals that deny science & mock education.

Next came 'gerrymandering' to twist voting districts that give an unethical & unfair advantage to Republicans.

''Voter suppression,'  because they know would be impossible to win if everyone voted.

'Fake news,' using behavioral science marketing, a steady drip feeding of fear and manufactured outrage.

'Sham investigations' smearing opponents that sometimes last decades. (White Water! Benghazi! Emails! The Server! Uranium! Clinton Foundation!)

'Conspiracies,' like the QAnon pedophile pizza parlors or Obamas birth certificate.

'Tea Party extremism,' emerged, abandoning the moral foundations our nation was built upon allowing deplorable Trumpism to prevail.

There are no rules other than the ones they bend, break and make…to win. In the GOP eyes, winning is the ultimate virtue, even seeking & accepting foreign influence in Americas sacred Democratic elections. "Russia if you are listening"..."Ukraine, do me a favor"

Today, a right wing mass media machine blankets the USA from coast to coast advancing a corporate political agenda. 'Promote trickle down economics.' Ya know, tax cuts & loopholes for the richest 1%, showering the benefits on GOP kingpins, billionaire oligarchs, mega corporations and their shareholders that finance Republican campaigns.

History shows trickle down economics has zero success ....yet every election, the Republican Party has the hutzpah to roll it out again and again. These zombie policies benefit the rich, ratcheting up deficits & bankrupting the economy every time.

Consequently, Republican economic policy triggered 10 out of the last 11 recessions.

Republicans know they can’t win over the blue collar voters (the base) with their policies that benefit the rich so they control the narrative thru a right wing media ecosystem, going from Fox, the NY Post, Sinclair, Breitbart, Gateway Pundit, to talk radio, like Rush Limbaugh, Savage Nation, OANN or the craziest conspiracy sites like INFO WARS for the truly insane... all in a singular network where the producers link to each other.

The goal is to deliberately infuriate and enrage the viewers to motivate them to vote. (against their own interests)

According to an exhaustive media analysis using artificial intelligence by Harvard & MIT computer scientists, the blissfully misinformed right wing media viewers are intentionally locked into a right wing propaganda feedback loop.

The study concludes the Democrats on average use 13 different media sources that adhere to journalistic standards(called fact checking) while a majority of Republicans only view an opinion based broadcast in their echo chamber.

Isn't it obvious when you read the comments here? One can easily spot the forum members that dwell in the right wing echo chamber.

But hey you keep on talking about voter suppression.

Every country has "border problems" but if you watch Fox, when a Democrat is elected.... the problem instantly turns into a "battle zone with caravans of disease carrying, rapists, drug dealing murderers, with some muslim terrorists blending in."

Gotta hand it to the Republicans, they know how to trigger their extremely gullible base.

Fact is, most of them are very pleasant, hard working, honest, good Christians that are concerned about their impoverished families, coming to do seasonal farm work, gardening, housekeeping and construction labor... then return home every fall.

Why do they come? Because we need them. Americans won't do those jobs.
