I'm with @lopburi3 on this. When living in Malaysia I searched high and low for the same and ended up buying on Ebay.

These are easy to find in Canada and have been around since I was a little kid....I’m probably one of the reasons my Dad installed them????

I will search the big construction type stores in ChiangMai and also door and window stores!

If you don't mind slamming doors.  They also have spring closure systems that should work for automatic closing and not too expensive - but again most will slam door a bit from reviews I have read.

I have seen several of these types...never thought about slamming doors tho’

u can always go the extra and use the hydraulic cylinder type closing 

units too but trying to keep simple!

a screen door spring from the old days would work too

good luck finding one of those????

Here’s my temporary fix...actually works like a darn! Just enough to hold the door shut but easy open from either side????
