topt Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 If you happen to have an Asda mobile sim you may have been aware that they have changed from piggybacking on the EE network to using Vodafone. Although I was aware of this, and spoke to their customer service recently, I hadn't been made aware that by mid September, if you haven't swapped your sim for a new one, your sim will apparently "stop working"......... If you use it for financial providers OTPs that could be a tad disastrous. What is not clear to me is what happens with an ordinary balance as opposed to a "package" when you switch over....... The article that bought it to my attention - https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2021/03/asda-mobile-to-switch-to-using-vodafone-network---you-need-to-ta/?utm_source=MSE_Newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=30-Mar-21-50671954-6181&source=CRM-MSETIP-50671954&utm_campaign=nt-moneysavingnews&utm_content=4
