BANGKOK (NNT) - Thai Airways International (THAI) will vaccinate 4,500 employees at and around Suvarnabhumi Airport against Covid-19 from April 19 as the airline will resume international flights to Phuket in July.

THAI has collaborated with the Public Health Ministry to give the Sinovac jab to staff in the customer service, ground maintenance, kitchen, commercial, merchandise, mail and mechanic departments operating at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

As the at-risk frontline staff, they will get two doses of Sinovac vaccine, the first administered between April 19 and 25.

Meanwhile, THAI has established the “TG Centre for Covid Prevention” to monitor employee and customer hygiene measures following the fresh outbreak centering on Bangkok.

Seeing as they are insolvent, shouldn't that read 'eradicate' 4,500 employees?

Keep dreaming ????

Nice.

A majority State-owned but publically-traded airline isn't required to obtain an import license to obtain a foreign made covid 19 vaccine.

Flight & cabin crew?

If they need a staff of 4500 to run their Phuket operations, that could explain why they are in bankruptcy!

Next week.

It would be nice - and a welcome change if just once, a news release announced that a plan had been completed on schedule.. Otherwise, it's just another 'gunner' announcement. We're 'gunner' do this, and we're 'gunner' do that. etc etc.

The road to hell is paved with good Intentions, most of which are unaccomplished.

*sigh*

As vaccines are shuffled to 'special interests and people' and not the Thai public in general.
"Don't worry commoners.  Vaccine come for you in July, maybe."

Thats an awful lot of scarce Vaccines to give to a Doughnut and Custard vending Company

4500? that should just about cover the retired military men in the boardroom then. Wonder what they will do for the other staff....

Must be upwards of 50% of articles are in the form

Thailand to

Some Puyai to

We almost NEVER hear of what they actually did. It sums up the Thai culture. Always planning but rarely delivering.
