Thailand has more variety for nights out than most places. Lets face it, and local with two plastic chairs, a folding table, and a six pack can set up his own "pub", others spend millions on glitzy danceclubs, and in between that is the farang pubs, the beer gardens, sidewalk stalls, scuzzy bar beers, live music nightclubs, night bazaars, and on and on......

I'm a big fan of beer gardens, and Thai owned bar/restaurants slapped together out of bamboo and wood benches (these always seem to have the best food), open air beer gardens where the band is close enough to hear but far enough away that you can still carry on a conversation, and the rickety red table next to my favourite Chotana Rd food cart.

When you go out where do you prefer to go for an evening out with friends?

Anywhere they sell alcohol. Though i avoid <deleted> plastic places like Bed etc etc.

Tuskers Chiang Mai, for intelligent conversations and Beer Lao.

Kao Mao Kao Fang Restaurant Chiang Mai, for the massive gardens.

Genesis Bangkok (Sukhumvit Soi 11), for a touch of class in Bangers.

i like to go to nice restaurants like prago's zico's for good food and pleasant surrounings tonight itsthe islander for the fa cup final come on you blues
