Popular Post ukrules Posted April 20, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 20, 2021 (edited) Antivirals are the future, if we're lucky we might get them due to this pandemic. Think of what happened when antibiotics were introduced. If you know even a little about viruses and what secondary issues they can cause (heart problems, cancers, diabetes and many more) then this would truly change the world even if it's just a first step along the road to eventual broad spectrum antivirals which one day become very effective. Yes, one benefit of this awful virus is that it has accelerated research into antivirals and vaccines. Possibly there will be some exciting medical developments resulting; a vaccine against some forms of cancer is even being talked about. in a few years we may look back and see that ,in the end, this Coronavirus produced some significant benefits for us humans. 3
