Honda Thailand together with tournament organisers IMG, announced that the world-class women’s golf tournament, the "Honda LPGA Thailand 2021", will tee off with over 70 top female golf pros from around the world, competing for a prize purse valued at USD 1.6 M. or 50 million Thai Baht, and Honda Accord Hybrid, Hybrid Tech variant valued at THB 1,799,000.

The tournament which returns for the first time since 2019 at the Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course, Chonburi province, will take place from 6 - 9  May 2021.

It will be held as a closed event with no spectators, so as to reduce contact between individuals for added safety and  create confidence among related stakeholders, under the requirements and supervision of the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), Ministry of Tourism and Sports, and the Sports Authority of Thailand.

But fans will not miss out on any of the action as the tournament will be broadcast live to more than 100 countries worldwide including the Golf Channel, and locally via PPTV HD 36 Channel or www.pptvhd36.com or PPTVHD36 Application.

21 year old Thai rookie Patty Tavatanakit, who won the first LPGA major of the year, ANA Inspiration, will be joined in the field by a number of Thai players including the Jutanugarn sisters, Pattaya’s Jasmine Suwannapura, veteran Pornanong Phatlum and teen sensation Atthaya Thitikul.

Should be an exciting few days.
