Badger18 Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 I'm a UK passport holder planning to head to the States in the next couple of weeks. It doesn't look as though the visa waiver program has been suspended but entry is prohibited if you've been in a red-listed country within 14 days of arriving in the US. Thailand is not currently on the list. It will take a while to make the arrangements (need a PCR test etc) so there's a risk that I will buy a ticket and then find that Thailand has gone on the list in the meantime and I can't get in. Does anyone who keeps up with US news have any idea how likely that is to happen? The list is currently pretty short list and does not include Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia or even India. That could just mean it's due for an update though.
Phillip9 Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 It is very unlikely Thailand will be red listed. They literally haven't changed that list for 6+ months. It was really just a list of countries trump hated and had little to do with actual covid infections in those countries. 1
