i will be in patong staying in a hotel there for a couple weeks in october and i am wanting to do some muay thai boxing for some of the time, i have read about a great place in nai harn called sinbi muay thai gym, how long by taxi would it be and a rough price to pay

looking to do morning classes and if its a bit of a drive i may look for a closer place

A daily Taxi would cost you a fortune. Patong to Nai Harn is about 20 kms.

I personally would avoid Patong & find something in Rawai/Chalong.

The Sinbi themselves have accomodation and rent out motorcycles which although dangerous is the cheapest way to travel.

It's about a 25 minute ride from Patong to Naiharn.

The taxi situation in Phuket is focked.

Better to rent a motorbike or a car for the duration of your stay.
