OMG! I know this to be total and complete bulls*#t!

 

They're going to force us to take their lousy vaccines, while the private hospitals have been begging and pleading for the government to allow them to order Pfizer, Moderna and J&J.

 

I know this to be a fact from talking to different medical professionals here.

 

These guys need to get real. 

 

They've said a lot of crazy things, but this is among the craziest. Somebody in the government doesn't want private hospitals to get the vaccine. If it's not this guy then it's probably the PM.

You maybe correct....what will save the junta is the fact 99% Thais don't have that far to fall....unlike say people in the UK.

The line seems to be getting longer and longer for a choice of vaccines. The only thing we can do is wait. To bad we have to hear  all this BS everyday. Theses vaccines do have a due date so they might be nicer to us all when they have a big batch.

I've been to three hospitals, 1 public, 2 private, in Pattaya and none of them know anything about these appointments to get the vaccine or when they are likely to be able to sell the vaccine privately.

Where is DSI and their fake news police? Why isn't DSI taking action against Thai government for these fake news comments? Pfizer has 2.5 billion doses available in 2021 and over 1 billion shots available and unallocated in 2021 so why no Pfizer shots available in Thailand - only because the government refuses private entities to import it and wants to shove AZ and Sinovac into everybody.

Oh but he is. He is standing in the way of any sort of progress, forward movement, solutions and benefit for the Thai people. He is a regressive dinosaur, just like his boss Prayuth. One and the same. This administration is beyond redemption. The only way out for the Thai people is to get rid of the army, once and for all. Some may call me an optimist, but I do believe that once these retrogrades are gone, it will be Thailand's last coup.

They want the other vaccins delayed. Why, so that the company who is going to ( when?) carry out the astazeneca production will get all the bénéfice. Just look at who this company belongs to.

What is the Tsar doing to organise the vaccination programme. My opinion is the Government should procure the vaccines as a matter of top priority and then request  the medics to arrange the vaccination programme. You really don't want the virus to get out of control as is now happening in India. Keep the fat cats from the Tourism Industry out of these arrangements and take care entire population

Maybe you are right. But also Pfizer is on schedule to produce 2.5 billion doses in 2021, in 2 plants one in USA and one in Belgium. Pfizer will have met its obligation to USA government of delivering 300 million doses in USA before July 1. It is shipping 8 million doses to Canada, in May and has already shipped 10 million to Mexico. Shipping schedule to Thailand ZERO doses - no orders or payments received from Thailand.

Don't forget, the probable reason is the Thai Government do not want the private hospitals buying 'cos they will then know the real price of the medicine is a lot lower than they are being told!!!! kerching kerching????????????????
