Great to hear from you and happy to know you were not in Mandalay when the tragedy struck. So much devastation including buildings I knew from my visits during the democracy era. There must be so many people suffering, including many children. If you are successful with a visa and a place to live, please keep us informed. Now might actually be the golden time to be a landlord and rental rates could go up. With fewer people buying, more people will be renting at a time where the inventory of available units is dropping, because of damage. A similar shift happened after the sub-prime crises in 2008. Sales went down - rents went up. -
