Wow. It has arrived.  Let's be safe and ensure we isolate those locations where it was found.  Take care folks and be safe.  Looks like the ride has hit turbulence

Lets be thankful this wasn't found at Songkran so they could let it spread by giving the Songkran wave as they did the UK variant! Yep isolate the areas and asap and test test test

Have no fear, the man is already 'on the job'.

Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul convened an urgent meeting with relevant agencies after 15 cases of Indian Covid variant were found in the cluster of infections at the worker camp in Bangkok’s Laksi district.

Phuket expat population about to swell. BKK the worst place to be, those workers are jammed on top of each other in transport trucks

Can we get vaccinated there sooner? With something other than Sinovac?

Construction sites were the new and upcoming clusters. Looks like it is a bigger cluster cluck then anyone wanted.    Ugh.

The Construction Worker Camps certainly seem to be the center of the new outbreaks, which is certainly bad news for all.

I wonder how long all these clusters have been kept quiet from the Media.

With the numbers of people involved in these Builders Camps ( approx 450,000 in Bangkok alone ), this could get as bad, if not worse than the Prisons.

However, this also raises the question " what about all the overcrowded Factories, and other sweat shops ".

Are there cover ups happening here also ?

Are the high Infection rates of all these places only being slowly drip fed out into the Public domain to ease panic and the pressure on the Hospitals.

We  can only guess, and try to protect our Families as best we are able.

Building even more hotels and high-risers must continue.

They are under pressure from the banks to get them ready.

Thing is, there are no buyers.

Until they are completed, the banks have Zero Asset against the Money they have lent out to Build them.

Even after completion, the Asset will go onto the Banks Loan to Asset Ratio Portfolio, and if there are no buyers the Asset then becomes bad.

No problem.

WHO just said that all vaccines are efficient against all variants... !

"All COVID-19 virus variants that have emerged so far do respond to the available, approved vaccines," Kluge said Hans Kluge (WHO Europe chief)

So we are saved !

Ah wait... we do not have vaccine yet....
