The big 3 day holiday comes in July. People are free to move as they please no restrictions, so will have to wait and see. No restrictions? Really, can I get to Chiang Rai without a quarantine? How about Phuket, and ? Oh wait....to many restrictions and quarantines in place in many provinces as it stands. Best to stay put. Looks like schools for Bangkok will be a no go for awhile as well.

Yep isolate the areas and asap and test test test My evening runs around the Silom and Sathon Area will now be changed to early morning before all of those workers go to and from all of the work sites, Italian-Thai being a company whom many of them work for, as seen on their work shirts as they walk to and from in the evening after their work ends at 8pm. Most live outside of the construction sites around us. The biggest two locations are the One Bangkok, and Dusit Park. Many smaller ones around BNH hospital. They either load up in the backs of the big trucks or walk in large groups.

Popular Post Sheryl
One should not make the mistake of assuming presence of the Indian variant means the COVID outbreak in the country will resemble that of India. There are some country-specific factors at play in India: extreme crowding, and a public health system that is dysfunctional at the best of times. Neither is true of Thailand in general, though there are some vulnerable sub-population to whom it applies (prisoners, migrants etc). The Indian variant is already in 44 countries and not wrecking the same degree of havoc in most of them that it is in India. While it is true that the "Indian variant" is more infectious than the original viral strain it is not clear how much more infectious it is (if at all) than the so-called "UK strain" already prevalent here. Also not yet clear if it is any more lethal. 14

Looks like it is a bigger cluster cluck then anyone wanted. Ugh. The Construction Worker Camps certainly seem to be the center of the new outbreaks, which is certainly bad news for all. I wonder how long all these clusters have been kept quiet from the Media. With the numbers of people involved in these Builders Camps ( approx 450,000 in Bangkok alone ), this could get as bad, if not worse than the Prisons. However, this also raises the question " what about all the overcrowded Factories, and other sweat shops ". Are there cover ups happening here also ? Are the high Infection rates of all these places only being slowly drip fed out into the Public domain to ease panic and the pressure on the Hospitals. We can only guess, and try to protect our Families as best we are able.

Even after completion, the Asset will go onto the Banks Loan to Asset Ratio Portfolio, and if there are no buyers the Asset then becomes bad.
