Non O marriage 1 year nearly finished.

Featured Replies

HI, my 1 year marriage visa finishes on the 2nd September. Can I get a 60 day extension on that? Lets say i put the 400k in 2 months before it ends and need another month. I can not leave the country to get another marriage visa at the moment because of COVID. Are they still doing extensions like before?

Thanks.

Seems you have the 400K... then why not check for a marriage extensions, which will be valid for another 1 year?

Or you only need the 60/90 days?

The other day you said you had a 1 year "visa" from Jomtien.  You actually have an extension of stay based on marriage don't you?  Why don't you simply do another extension when that ends, and put 400K in the bank now, or at least 2 months before you need the new extension.

I am starting a new job in Bangkok at the start of this month which has more than the 40k a month required for marriage visa. I am hoping that this will be enough for an extension but I am worried because the job is in Bangkok and my visa is from Jomtien there might be problems getting a work permit causing me to lose my job. I don't really have 400k at the moment and it will require some effort to get it. If I did have 400k i would put it in my bank right away.
