Good luck Tim...not sure if there are many mandolin players hereabouts but as for picking friends and having fun if your pockets are deep you will find that for sure.....????

i have been in Khao Talo near Sukumvit Rd  and there is a place near there called Pattaya Music Club. Maybe there. I think one of the hotels also used to have a Jam night. Not sure where. I used to see an Irish band in LK Metro but all changed with covid.
