Royal academy seeks 1 million vaccines as Thailand approves Sinopharm

BANGKOK (Reuters) - A royal academy chaired by Princess Chulabhorn, the youngest sibling of Thailand's king, on Friday said it would import 1 million doses of Sinopharm's COVID-19 vaccine next month, after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorised its use.

Phuket to ease COVID restrictions from June 1

PHUKET: Phuket officials will relax a wide range of business closures on the island ordered to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and relax measures to allow people to enter the province under a new order yet to be issued, but announced to come into effect on June 1.

Return of Empty Shipping Containers Enables Export of Products worth ฿35bn

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC) has reported that more than 23,000 empty containers have been returned to Thailand since February, enabling the export of 458,000 tons of products worth over 35 billion baht.

Domestic tourists from Ayutthaya claim they were attacked by local teenagers on Jomtien Beach for no reason overnight

Pattaya – A group of Thai teenagers from Ayutthaya filed a report to Pattaya police early this morning, claiming they were attacked by a group of Pattaya teenagers who warned the victims not to go to the police and claimed they were not afraid of law enforcement.

Over one hundred smuggled wild monkeys confiscated in Thailand before reportedly being delivered to neighboring countries as a food delicacy
