I made my own kitchen sink and food prep area table . Had a steel frame made. painted it black, bought an unfinished plywood door at a lumber store on Charoen Muang, had the stainless steel sink outline cut out, stained and finished the door with multiple coats of water-proof marine varnish.

 

It lasted 11 years ????  Today, I'm too lazy to try that again; l I relied on local folks building a house near me for the cutting; and I don't know if the steel fabricator is still around.
