  • 70 deaths per day on average on Thai roads, the majority of which are caused by recklessness, selfishness, stupidity. Innocents die. Nothing changes????

Sadly that's normal for Thailand.   My last car was a Z4 3.0i and they've got some kick. Also if you press hard on the accelerator the back can kick out quite easily particuarly when its wet

That's all it takes.

Looking at the views more than the road..

50 year old with an 18 year old (maybe his gik ) and trying to impress without driving to conditions which is not uncommon in Thailand ! RIP to the two innocent victims

I just watched a breakdown of this on Thai TV.  There are multiple car-cam and CCTV shots of the BMW driving on the wet roads.  Multiple scenes of the BMW blasting by other cars and the talking head on TV said the BMW was clocked at 131 on wet roads.

Thailand.  Over and over and over again with the senseless, aggressive driving.
I blame the drivers but it's time to rake Thailand's government over the coals for its utter lack of effective enforcement.  You don't stop insane, highly aggressive Thai driving at road blocks and with camera-issued tickets that only 20% of the population pays.  And the downside?  A paltry fine.  There is no deterrence.

It's difficult to get the perspective of speed from a Point Of View video.
One look at road mounted CCTV shots where the perspective includes cars that are being passed like they are standing still and suddenly you get the amount of speed this fool was carrying.  Clocked at 131 KPH for sure.  This then becomes an issue of equipment.  He's simple drove beyond his experience as well as the traction capabilities of his tires.  Too fast, sloppy wet roads, hydroplane - dead people and other freaking Thai road tragedy.  Too bad he didn't take it into a tree instead of killing innocent people.
