COE Approval (Apply from Thailand before traveling to Athens on short trip)

Looking to travel to Athens for a short 5 day trip (Arrive in Athens on 25 June and Fly back to Thailand on 30 June) on Visa Exemption Scheme and to come back to Thailand for 14 day quarantine.

 

Was just told by Royal Thai Embassy of Athens that I can only apply when I am in Athens and they said they need 10 business days for approval of COE, anyone has any of such similar experiences?

 

Asked them if I can go down to the Embassy and was told they can only do it digitally now.

I aware of others that applied for the COE before leaving here. Not sure how they would know where you are at when you submitted the application.

Remember you must have your 15 day ASQ reservation and your flight back to here. Plus a covid 19 test result 72 hours before departing to here.
