Oh Mama! Thai man caught sending "ice" in instant noodles to Israel

Thai police in the province of Chiang Rai and local Wiang Chai cops staked out a post office after receiving information that someone was posting drugs abroad. 

 

It was not long on Tuesday before Suchart or "Jua", aged 24, arrived with a consignment of instant noodles he was sending to Israel, reported Naew Na. 

 

Inside 39 packets of folded paper sealed with tape and concealed within the "bamee" (egg noodles) was 990 grams of crystal meth or ice. 

 

Suchart said he was paid 20,000 baht by a man called man - Chai - to post the noodles. 

 

He was charged with attempting to smuggle Class 1 drugs and detained.

There's an easy way to get to the kingpins, if they really wanted to.

 

Simply offer a pardon, and states witness protection for life, to the mules and so on, up the chain of command, each time they offer up a bigger fish in the chain, then repeat.

 

Of course, that would only work in a world where the profits of the drug trade were only in the millions, not the billions -and trillions, annually.

 

Tell me again how this bust changes anything at all? ????
