Banglamung – A man has returned a lost ring-necked parakeet in Banglamung to its owner who provided a special Mookata Thai-style BBQ dinner as a thank you.

Mr. Wanlop Ratkajorn, 42, a construction contractor yesterday (June 18th) returned a ring-necked parakeet which has got lost to Mr. Puwadet Lertsiri, 39, a bank staffer in the Pattaya area.

Mr. Wanlop told Pattaya News Reporters, “Yesterday morning before I went to work I found the yellow parakeet at my house in Soi Khao Talo. It was weak so I caught it and put it in a cage. I gave some bananas and water to the parakeet. I posted on social media to find its owner as I knew this was not a typical bird for the Pattaya area.”

Well done-a nice story for the day????

If the bird is not on the protected bird list the owner should be fine. Many birds kept as pet are actually illegal, most owners even don't know..

Thanks God.

If the international press picks up on that news, billions of tourists will flock to Thailand from 01. July.

Yes, Pattaya has very different birds.

I read the story and left it at that. The "if's" are possible, but the story is good as is.
