camel_jockey
G'Day All, My fiance and I have applied for a fiance visa to Aus, and DIMA has asked for a police clearance from thailand, although my fiance has not resided in LOS for almost 9 years, as she has been living out of the country for so long, where might she get such a statement/letter? Is there some special office she has to got to? Also, does the Aus consulate in BKK do certified copies of passports?I need to supply one of those. Your help is much appreciated, I rang the consulate in Dubai and spoke to our case officer and this was her reply to my questions, me: where in BKK does my fiance get her police clearance from? her: i dunno! me: and certified copies of my documents, do you have someone in Bahrain that you recommend/use? her: i dunno! reggae77
You need a letter of introduction from the Australian embassy. They will also give you a map on where to go. The office itself is at the back of one of the main buildings in the police headquarters grounds. We went on a Thursday and were told that it would take up to 3 weeks, but my gf paid 3000b and we had it on Monday.
