75 Thai workers comprise majority of the 85 new Covid-19 cases in Oddar Meanchey

The Oddar Meanchey  announced the detection of 85 new Covid-19 patients yesterday. Of the 85, 75 of them comprise Thai construction workers. There were also 15 recoveries reported.

 

According to a press release from Oddar Meanchey Provincial Administration, the 75 workers were detected at the O’Smach International Border Checkpoint.

 

As of July 5, Oddar Meanchey province has detected 1,008 cases of Covid-19 cases, of whom 895 cases were imported from Thailand and another 113 cases were classified as local community infection resulting from the February 20 incident. Another 177 cases have been cured while  828 people remain hospitalized.
