Bacterostatic water?

Featured Replies

I'm trying to find bacterostatic water in phuket. Empty glass vials as well.  No pharmacies seem to stock either.

FYI - this is for a doctor prescribed medication.

Pharmacies DO carry small vials of sterile water (for mixing with powders for injection). This would provide both the water and the vial, assuming you do not need large volume of water. You'll need needles 7 syringes to extract the water but perhaps you already have these.

Tell the pharmacy "Sterile Water For Injection Millimed"

Will have to be a proper big pharmacy (not a Boots or Watsons etc).

Sterile water can be used for anything you would use bacteriostatic water for BUT only as single use (i.e. open and use all - because it dose not have a bacteriostatic agent to keep it free of pathogens once opened)

you can also order it from Lazada  https://www.lazada.co.th/catalog/?spm=a2o4m.home.search.1.1125719cS5BgP3&q=sterile water for injection&_keyori=ss&clickTrackInfo=textId--181008225443283189__abId--213203__pvid--9017ff0e-cb44-43a7-ae9b-b226c65cd337__matchType--1__srcQuery--sterile water for injection__spellQuery--sterile water for injection&from=suggest_normal&sugg=sterile water for injection_0_1

Sterile water for injection is not the same as Bacteriostatic water.
