hi folks i need to get my document stamped at chaeng wattana in Bangkok, a few nationalities such as Australians are able to get from their embassy a certified genuine signature stating their documents are genuine and then they are able to get that stamp

I'm from the UK my documents are legalised by the FCO  in the UK but not the thai embassy in London. Does the UK embassy in Thailand offer this certified genuine signature service. I can't see anything on their website. I know the UK embassy doesn't seem to do a lot these days in terms of paperwork. Do they offer this service?

I get the feeling the answer is no, but if anyone has a clue let me know

Failing this I will have to DHL my documents back to the UK to do step 2 and get them legalised at the Thai embassy in London

thanks for any help on this

update they are saying its classed as legalisation even though they are already legalised by milton keynes .. so i guess that leaves DHL my documents back to the UK

The document that was legalised by the UK Legalisation Office in Milton Keynes, needs to be certified by the Thai Embassy in London, as they need to check that it's been properly legalised.  It's nothing to do with the UK Embassy.  It's a shame the Legalisation Office didn't tell you this, as when I had to get my documents legalised, they forwarded the document direct to the Thai Embassy in London, who then sent it back to me.

I guess you will have to DHL the legalised document to the Thai Embassy in London yourself, and pay for them to send it back to you in Thailand.

Do you have any family or friends back in the UK who could assist you with this task?
