I would advise anyone not to travel now, because IMO lockdowns are coming and we've had the people trapped overseas because of lockdowns before already.

do you interact w/ anyone? remember masks are not there to protect you there primary purpose is to protect others so even if your wearing a mask you have a risk. Its less then if you where not wearing a mask but its sure as hell not 100.

 

At this point i don't think ppl have much empathy for the unvaccinated and the simple dark truth is its to some degree a self solving problem. Just looking at the numbers in the US the primary individual that is dieing to covid at this point is anti vaxxers..shockingly they are also more likely to be in red states and republicans. 

 

No one wants to see another suffer and die but if its a case between anti vaxxers and those that believe in the science,backed up by individuals that went to school for years, then at this point i think most are okay w/ your choice. Sadly not for the reason you want but..again at this point I don't think they care anymore.

 

The Herman Cain award should be made into a emote/award so we can tag posts w/ it.

Are you not aware that most will not die, and some may not have any symptoms? The only way they know they were infected was by having a test.

And yet those who don't vaccinate either don't care if others die or are seriously misinformed. It has been said here many times by anti-vaxers that they themselves are healthy and not in danger so why take the vaccine. But they don't need to say it, medical experts are all in agreement that the vaccines greatly reduce the spread. I have no respect for people who won't vaccinate without good cause, in fact I revile them. It is for good reason that most vaccines are already mandatory for children.

At this point if your in one of the countries where access to a vaccine is a walk into any pharmacy or local clinic and geet a vaccine and you have not,not counting the very small amount of ppl that can't due to health reasons, then I and a large part of the population do not care if you get sick and die. 

 

At this point there is little reason to not be vaccinated and if your not your part of the problem. I do not wish Covid on anyone but if you think i'm going to get overly emotional or feel bad after seeing another "please send thoughts and prayers to -blahblah-, as he has come down with that fake covid" I don't know what else to tell you but..no not in the least. In fact even though i don't wish it on them I see the benefit of them getting it. either they live and hopefully learn or they die and they are no longer a problem.

You are being short sighted here. Vaccination reduces the number of infected people, and every infected person is an incubator for potential mutations, some of which may be lethal to you.

 

With Omicron coming, I would strongly recommend you get vaccinated ASAP.

I'm extremely against those who post fake or misleading information.  Like the guy who gets his info from RTNews.  It's a know fake news website.  So I call it out.  And luckily, links to it are not allowed here.  For good reasons.

 

I'm hard core against anti vaxxers and covid deniers.  They are the ones responsible for this spread of misinformation and are helping this pandemic to extend.  That's well documented.

he isn't wrong about RT news. RT news is a known government backed disinformation/propaganda company. It was banned in the UK and required to tag themselves as foreign supported agency in the usa.

Listening to doctors who spend their careers dedicated to viruses is a no brainer. We all listen to experts every day as we can't be a expert in all fields and so we give up some of our agency so that we can focus on the things we find more important. What we can do is the show the results of an overwhelming number of scientific studies. Yes, I'm very aware of RT News / Russia Today. "It's a known fake news site" is a misleading exaggeration. In terms of both intentional disinformation and misinformation, they are a lighter version of Chinese state-backed media such as CGTN, which the news team and ASEANNOW has sourced from in the last couple of month btw.

My issue isn't with that one post on this one thread. I read a lot more than I post and I'm referring to what I see in totality across the forum. He's referring to an exchange elsewhere where the link provided by RT News itself was factual, but the analysis of the data was incomplete / misleading.

 

One problem with dramatically labeling it as a "known fake news site" is that a lot of the information on there is factual and moderate in tone. For the unsuspecting reader, it's easier to sneak in editorial bias and misinformation in some (not all) news articles. Especially when they're going after being told its a "fake news website"

You can be hardcore against and take the time to reply to the specific content of the posts vs. what you think they are saying
