Popular Post webfact
File photo Naew Na reported the government spokesman Anucha Buraphachaisri as saying following a cabinet meeting that help is on the way for parents of children in both the state and private education sectors. A 23 billion baht Education Ministry pot will be used to pay 2,000 baht for each child in basic education (primary and secondary), schools will be helped with expenses and reductions or freezes of expenses to the same levels of 2020 will be made. Naew Na interpreted this as term fee reductions saying that parents would be cheering the news. University students will also see more specific reductions at state unis with 50% off fees up to 50,000 baht, 30% off 50-100K fees and 10% off fees above 100,000 baht. Students at private universities will receive a 5,000 baht payment. The reductions for university fees are based on a 10 billion baht fund. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-07-28 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 1 1

I have two lists as long as my arm: a shopping list and list of bills that need to be paid. Just hope I don't spend it all in one shop...
CrunchWrapSupreme
Some refund is in order, given no activities, lunches, not running the air cons. Yet the schools still need something. Us teachers are still working, making online lessons, keeping in touch with classes, and giving them the scores they need to still advance a grade or graduate this year. brewsterbudgen
My son's International school have "generously" reduced the fees for next term, starting on 23 August, by 2,000 baht, as the whole of last term was online.
bbko
My son's online 8th grade school lessons are a joke, he finishes them in a matter of minutes. He completes them so fast I had to start home schooling, when I taught him human anatomy he said his teacher didn't teach him half of what I taught.
