BANGKOK, Aug 10 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Aug 9 revoked a recent regulation that banned the dissemination of any fake reports that might frighten the public.

The revocation followed the Civil Court’s injunction suspending the imposition of the 29th regulation the prime minister had issued on July 29 by virtue of the executive decree on public administration in emergency situations.

The Royal Gazette quoted the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration, which Gen Prayut chaired, as stating that the court’s injunction suspended the imposition of the 29th regulation and thus the regulation should be called off.

Probably revoked due to pending accusations and allegations of fake news against his own departments

This is a start.  Now the Czar needs to cancel his amnesty legislation.  That is only designed to benefit him and his political cohorts, not doctors.  Everyone knows it.  That legislation wouldn't be necessary if he did a decent job of procuring enough and a variety of vaccines instead of lining the pockets of the inept.

Swoon (yet  again)  my hero for  the people, Mickey  Mouse at its  finest, you  know after seeing many of the people asking me for work here I can understand who he is  aiming at, the level of stupidity either through lack of education or  sheer laziness or  both is  quite  high in Thailand.

I prefer the idea of backpedaling, keeping ones eye in the direction of discontent.

Nice slap in the face, as I said many times , he lost his backing.

this is first time since he took power he was knocked back for introducing some new law.

hope he started packing already and has a nice destination to run to, he will never be forgiven by the people and will not be forgiven or forgotten by the backer who he made look bad

Now we need the same for the law that gives them impunity from screwing up the procurement of vaccines, I don't have any issue with doctors having some protection but ministers... no way.

Is this report fake news? ????

He had little choice this is the way to go for the protesters use the courts for any future bans
