I am employed by a Thai Company and I hold a regular work permit which expires with the VISA. For my visa run, my employer gives me all the papers necessary about the company (list of shareholders and so on) together with the letter asking for a multi entry non immigrant B which regularly is denied at the Consulate in Penang which instead issues a single entry 3 months non imm. B.

My questions are:

1) By the time I've all the papers, why the Thai Consulate does not issue a multientry non imm. B as requested by my employer ?

2) How many times can I extend my non immigrant B at the immigration office ?

Provided you meet the requirements for a business extension there is no limit to how often you can extend your stay (1 year at a time), it's the same process every year.

Penang don't issue multi entry visas for this very reason ^^^
