anchadian
Human Trials Sought for Local Inhaled COVID Vaccines BANGKOK, Aug 20 (TNA) – A researchers’ team of the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC) has sought approval from the Food and Drug Administration to test its new inhaled COVID-19 vaccines on humans. The team said that it had tested the vaccines of adenovirus and influenza virus types on mice by spraying them into their noses and they proved to effectively prevent illness and disease transmission. The vaccine development project received financial support from the government through the National Vaccine Institute. https://tna.mcot.net/english-news-762412
BobinBKK
As I predicted last week, Thailand would enter the "1 Million Cases Club" on August 20th. Congratulations to you Mr. Prayut on a job well done, you should be very proud!!! I assume that your next claim to fame is to reach 1 million cases since April 1st will be tomorrow August 21st? 3

Popular Post Bkk Brian
Burmese Maids, Cambodian Nurses Left Out Of Thailand's Vaccination Plans Foreign domestic helpers, who primarily come from Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos, frequently care for elderly and other medically vulnerable locals, which means that reducing the chance of infections in households is of primary importance as Thailand is experiencing a severe Covid-19 outbreak, representatives of the labor rights group said during an online discussion on Aug. 17. We are rushing to roll out vaccines for target groups such as the elderly. Yet we have no policy to take care of their helpers who work in close contact with them,” said Adisorn Kerdmongkol, a research officer at the group. https://bangkokherald.com/featured/burmese-maids-cambodian-nurses-left-out-of-thailands-vaccine-plans/ 2

The official figures put out are meaningless, I don’t know why people continue to fall for it, while ‘recoveries’ are neither here nor there when most of those are just doing time.

Reactive will keep numbers down basically by only infected people coming in or reacting to clusters where spread has already occured. Pro-active, go and find infections numbers will be much, much higher and more representitive of actual infections. Unfortunately truth must be hidden and manipulated by any means. Teams from the Rural Doctors Association did some good work travelling down to Bangkok to help with testing, they found many thousands through rapid testing and high positivity rates, unfortunately they were there for only a few days. When they left it also left a huge gap in pro active testing that was there before and remains today. Its not only Bangkok though, every province is the same, infact per capita for covid cases Bangkok is way down the list, around #14, the provinces are lacking pro active testing and they have more cases per capita. 4

Maybe next time you can use weekly trends Thailand number 8 or deaths numbers from yesterday Thailand number 11 or how about serious critical where Thailand is number 6. Focus on the delta outbreak and numbers do not look so good. This is what is happening now. So the people who died before Delta dont register with you? I'll count deaths in total, and as pointed out to another poster not some made up time scale by a poster on here. Shame, your other arguments seems very intelligent. 1

Death always count but it depends how you look at it, this is the official dashboard with deaths from 1st April. It gives a perspective on the current wave rather than last year. From that we can see the difference in mortality rates with the original strain and alpha/delta strains.
