One dead, two seriously injured including ten-year-old girl after two trailer trucks in Si Racha collide

Si Racha – A young woman aged about 15-years-old has been pronounced dead while two people have sustained serious injuries including a 10-year-old girl after two trailer trucks crashed in the Si Racha district at midday yesterday (August 24th). One of the drivers reportedly vanished from the scene of the accident.

 

The Si Racha Police was notified of the accident at noon on the Motorway Seven Road Section 3 in the Thung Sukhala sub-district. Rescue workers arrived at the scene to find two damaged trailer trucks.

 

Two injured people were found under a severely damaged trailer truck that were the female driver Mrs. Monruethai Namjan, 27, and a 10-year-old girl passenger. They were taken to a local hospital for urgent medical assistance.

Doing her job, kids off school, no one to look after them.

Unusual picture , one truck has hardly any damage, the other one,

total wreck , maybe caught fire ?, both going in same direction,

RIP and hopefully swift recovery to those injured, and make sure

you catch the bast@rd that did a runner.

if you read the full article in the link it says they found the ID card of the other truck driver and it's not known if he fled the scene or went to get help.

His truck appears to have no damage whilst the other is totally obliterated...there where no whiteness at the scene but the CCTV footage might bring a clue.

My mate used to have a trucking company in Thailand. He intimated to me all his drivers were instructed to flee the scene. The company then sorts out the mess later.
