This game has had me for a while now. It's quick, addictive and varied, while keeping the theme of pool.

I think both versions are great, probably the best timekiller games I've seen in a long time and the pub needs a pool table.

When you get to Free Kick, you'll go mad. Start with the 3rd from the top, then go for the black , or the one just below the black.

There are more levels than you could have nightmares about. The Abyss is one of the easiest; just play gently, really gently.

Ah.. Lightning Pool... I've been playing this for far too long.. Great fun, but after the Abyss, it goes back to Pinball Wizard 2 etc (and so on through the levels). Only with much less time. It's crucial to collect the coins to open a secret level as you earn bonus seconds and can rack up serious points.. It is highly addictive..

Yes, the levels repeat themselves, but it's still ###### addictive and frustrating.

It's difficult to know whether to start a new game at the level you failed (desperate to get through it) or start from level one and get as many points as you can. My best is 81,798

Just got 116,182 starting at level one and going through to 30 or more.

Special stage 2 is w*nk, but special stage 3 is well worth the points.
