Anyone else experiencing a really long power outage this Tuesday evening? At least the weather is cool.. But no TV, now I may have to talk to my wife and play with my kid..

Could be as a result of the heavy rain and large thunderstorm that we had in Central CM this evening.

Seems some of you have it luckier than we do. Commenting on a power outage! They are almost as common as clouds out here......

My electrical power went out a couple of weeks ago in the middle of the night. I thought it was just another general outage until the next morning when I discovered that someone had stolen 20 meters of the copper electrical cable running fom the street to the meter, no doubt to get some quick cash. A brazen act, not to mention very dangerous for the thief, but he seemed to know what he was doing. Its a not uncommon crime here in Thailand but had never before happened in this particular area (Faham). It cost 18,000 baht to replace the cable, at landlord's expense.
