The word COD is just another way of saying SCROTUM.

Eating cod is therefore distasteful to me.

Is that a highly observant observation that went right over my head, or does that make no sense at all ?

What is the connection between a cod and a scrotum?

I have no knowledge of middle English , you will have to explain the connection between a cod and a scrotum .

  Do Cods have scrotums ?

I've never really thought about that

Think about this :

Have you ever seen a cod swimming in the ocean, sporting a codpiece?

Please don't continue to provoke me by pretending that you know not.

(sorry for the emboldened text. Not of my doing)

I cannot say I ever have seen a cod wearing a codpiece , although I do recall seeing a Black Adder wearing a cod piece

Why would a snake be wearing a Cod piece ?

Don't think they even have knobs , do they ?

Not only do they (snakes) have two testicles, but they have two penises, as well.

Maybe you should have checked this out before you posted?

Therefore, in the case of a snake, only two codpieces would do.

Although, they might need to wear their codpieces internally.

Yes, I have managed to get to this age in life without knowing that snakes had two knobs , where did you get  that knowledge from ?
