Is Trump going down?
I got a confused emoji for this post. Seems someone ain't to bright. Must be a Harris voter. Pretty easy to understand. I have given what I think the electoral college votes will be for a Trump victory. Will any Harris voters post what they think the likely result will be? -

Private car blocks emergency vehicle, patient dies in Samut Prakan
In a civilised country they may also have deployed a paramedic on a high powered motorbike to attend the scene and provide initial care. Unfortunately this is Thailand where even the emergency lane on the highway is considered an overtaking lane and it's use is actively encouraged by the boys in brown waving their batons when traffic is heavy. Numerous times I've witnessed ambulances being blocked in this way on the freeways around Bangkok and Samut Prakan, yet to see any ambulances drivers complain. -

Flyin to Australia With 18 Year old Son
Read what I said, I had to be present or sign a form when he got his first, second and third Thai passport as I was a parent. It's the same if you apply for a passport for your child from your home country, the mother has to sign/agree etc on a form. I got his first Thai passport when he was 6 months too but had to sign a form or be present to sign the form. -

Thai Police Chief Launches Crackdown on Foreign Criminals in 15-Point Plan
Agreed. Data sharing of criminal convictions or wanted persons would be a good start. If entering the USA from Europe, the UK and likely other countries, the US immigration know if you are wanted or have a criminal record. Hell, they even knew 10 years ago that I had lost my UK passport and was travelling on the new replacement. Surely Thailand could also be part of data sharing. -

Its Happening - Law to Tax Overseas Income Now in Progress
In my opinion, I reckon that the agreement between over 100 countries to share financial information to ensure that everyone pays tax to a country somewhere in the world who're part of the treaty doesn't mean that you'll be expected to pay tax to more than one country. Even without a DTA, if you're being taxed in UK, you shouldn't be taxed by the Thais. You'll have to prove it of course, but it would be immoral to expect someone to pay tax twice. Speaking of the DTA, I've been told that because I'm an ex UK government worker, I don't have to file a tax return here, as per the said agreement. Will my position still be the same? Seems that there are lots of questions, but so far no answers. -
