Question for @AstraZeneca and Siam Bioscience.

The European Medical Agency says Thai SBS vaccine is not approved because it has never been asked to inspect the SBS plant. Also AFAIK no clinical trials were run on locally-made AZ vaccine. So, harder for it to be accepted overseas.

Now that in itself is a big reason for it to not be approved.  Was this done in other labs.  Did AZ themselves come here and look over the lab. Everything has been done behind closed doors it seems, and in secrecy here in Thailand, and one wonders why, but to go there is fraught with potential other issues.

  • PCR test positive cases, total of 11,375 official new infections, with 184 of those from prison and 11,191 from the community. 87 official covid deaths recorded.    Rapid tests positive case

  • It is good to see that the numbers are going down but I have my doubts... The prison infection are going very up and down and the same with the rapid tests. one day more than 5000 the next only 2500..

  • Chonburi Public Health Office is reporting 638 new cases today and 6 deaths. Most new cases are in Chonburi City (165), Si Racha (109), and Bang Lamung/Pattaya (113). There are 10,937 patients in care

WHO has also not approved Astrazeneca made in Thailand as yet. It has for all the manufacturing sites in Europe and the UK and also for India and South Korea

A friend just messaged me from Phuket. School starts Monday for the kids, and there will be weekly ATK testing being done.  Their children go to school in Chalong.
