Yes. The boats strained against the ropes securing them.

 

Now they have the water moving so fast, maybe they should put some hydroelectric generators in there.

In 2011 I followed the tide predictions daily.  It was a case of when the tide was high the water outside was high.  And we live in Mahasawat.  Mere propellors cannot change this.  What was the name of the stupid science minister at the time?  Prad............. or similar.

The original boat guy was Plodprasop.

 

You're a bit nearer the sea than we are (we are about 92km as the river flows) and on a different river. What sort of delay are you seeing between high at the gulf and locally? We have about 6 hours give or take.
