Damrongsak
Interesting bike. Would be nice if they bumped it up to 350-400 cc.
seedy
As usual - never an answer after posing the question ... Yamaha Thailand does not show this model on their website
lexilis
I am interested in this bike too. Unfortunately it appears that it is not available now in Thailand.
VocalNeal
Interesting? Back in the day they used to have a 180cc V twin in Singapore.

Popular Post lexilis
That's good news! Hope it actually happens. This is exactly what I was hoping to find to replace my aging (but much loved) Phantom. I don't want anything bigger and I hate riding scooters.
Damrongsak
The Yamaha Thailand site doesn't list any 2022 models yet that I can see.
guzzi850m2
Wow it has carburetor, not many new bikes with that anymore. Looks comfortable, a good little run about bike, likely. Personally not for me but each to their own.

I prefer EFI, hassle free and fewer and fewer can adjust carburetors.
lexilis
Does anyone have any other information that this bike is ACTUALLY coming to Thailand in 2022? The link cited above is the only thing I could find online about this and that website listed no sources and admitted there was no official info from Yamaha. I would not get hopes up just yet. Damrongsak
The web site cited above now says "available". The page was last updated on the 22nd.
lexilis
These bikes are not currently "available" anywhere in Thailand. Other than that single website (from the US) there has been no mention anywhere else that these bikes will be "available" in 2022. The official Yamaha.thailand sites do not mention it. Quote: At high elevations, an engine's performance will decrease, and fuel consumption will increase due to the air being less dense. ... When the carburetor is modified for high elevation operation, the air-fuel mixture will be too lean for low elevation use. Anyway, I doubt it will be a problem in Thailand, Nepal or Northern India is a different matter.

lexilis
Again, there is no actual confirmation that this bike is coming to Thailand in 2022. Yamaha Thailand has said nothing (and their websites contain various announcements of what will be on offer in 2022).
Issanman
Lifan Thailand are still showing their copy of the Yamaha V250 on their website: They also show a custom version of the V250 which looks quite interesting:

It may have a simple ICU that control the fuel pump. It can easily be adjusted if you stay up in the mountains.
