Alexander Foronda was cleaning his area when he saw the wallet, according to a story shared by a local radio station.

He immediately turned over the item to the security department, which traced the owner as verified by the mall’s Customer Relations Services.

“The good deed of Alexander is a reflection of the company’s values,” the owner, who hails from Quirino Province, was quoted as saying.

In a statement, the SM Group of Companies said it commends and continuously encourages its employees to be an example of honesty and integrity. (PNA)
