Vietnam is determined to respond to climate change, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said during talks with Chilean President Sebastian Pinera Wednesday.

 

It is committed to reducing emissions, changing into a ‘green’ economy and demonstrating responsibility in protecting the environment, he said while speaking on the phone with the Chilean leader, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

 

He hailed Chile's role in responding to climate change as the chairperson of the 2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference.
